Economic and Commercial Development
In addition to the Lebanon Valley Chamber, the Lebanon Valley Economic Development Corporation continues to play an integral role in the area’s business growth.
This non-profit regional economic development organization has dedicated itself to growing the manufacturing and business base of the Valley, strengthening the local labor force, developing investment opportunities and providing for the future of Lebanon Valley’s economic vitality through a variety of services designed to meet the ever-growing needs of area businesses.
There are three major business parks in the area. The Lebanon Valley Business Park (LVBP) covers 240 acres and is zoned for industrial use. The Lebanon Rails Business Park is a rail-served business park and is also zoned for industrial use. Hawk Acres Enterprise Place is comprised of 120 acres and is adjacent to the LVBP. The terrain is very suitable for construction, and full utility services are available. All three parks have easy access to the Northeast U.S. Corridor via I-76, I-81 and I-78.
