Transportation
The vehicular transportation network includes a number of major routes, which pass through the Borough of Phoenixville. State Routes 29, 113 and 23 are all prominent pass-through mechanisms in the regional road network. SEPTA bus routes provide public transportation.
The Main Street Community Development Corporation in Phoenixville is working on the reutilization of a not-in-service freight line through a project called the “Greenline” to provide passenger rail service from Oaks to Paoli with a station in Phoenixville.
