Since January 2000, Allegheny County has been governed by an elected, paid County Executive and an elected, paid County Council - some of whose members represent districts, and some who are elected at large. Pennsylvania is governed on the executive side by an elected Governor and Lieutenant Governor. To determine your voting district, legislator or senator, call 717-787-2372 for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives or 717-787-5920 for the Pennsylvania Senate.
