Upper Bucks County has much to offer residents: unspoiled natural beauty, a strong business sector, heritage and a location within miles of major metropolitan cities. There are a variety of price points available for Upper Bucks living, with 36.9 percent of home prices in the $300,000 to $500,000 range. Its proximity also makes commuting to the areas of King of Prussia, Norristown, Doylestown, Lehigh Valley, Philadelphia and New York City easy and convenient.

The area’s history is pronounced in its many historical stone farmhouses, encompassed by acres of scenic views and quaint Victorian-style estates. Traditional neighborhoods and newer subdivisions co-exist here; urban communities and rental properties are also widely available. The vast majority of monthly rent payments are in the $750 to $1,500 range, meaning settling into Upper Bucks County is possible on both an owner’s and a renter’s budget.

Though Upper Bucks County is ideal for raising a family, the area also provides a peaceful abode for the retirement population. A number of retirement communities, assisted living, skilled nursing and rehabilitation sites accommodate the area’s senior population.
