Quality of Life
Today, more than 80,000 residents have made one of the county’s 25 townships or 25 boroughs their home, taking pleasure in the wealth of conveniences and amenities afforded. The county, known for its strong presence in agriculture, coal mining, wind farming and a sundry of additional industries, is located in the Allegheny Mountains of southwest Pennsylvania.
