The development center also offers aid in such areas as product development and design, marketability and more.
The Susquehanna Economic Development Association Council of Governments (SEDA-COG) has a history that dates back to 1957. SEDA-COG is a development agency that works with a public policy board to provide expertise, leadership and services to the businesses, communities, residents and institutions of 11 counties.
SEDA-COG works to encourage and institute controlled and environmentally friendly growth. It provides specific services to particular facets of a community. Businesses can benefit from assistance with exporting and financing, while communities can utilize SEDA-COG’s resources for downtown revitalization, housing and more.
IMC offers support to Central Pennsylvania companies by helping them learn about and tackle their business environment. Through marketing and sales strategies, performance enhancement, information technology, product development and other services, IMC works to enhance a company’s growth.

The efforts of the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) help to revitalize, maintain and encourage growth throughout the state’s communities and businesses, including the Susquehanna Valley region. The department works to help bring local companies into global commerce. The Susquehanna Industrial Development Corporation (SIDCO) and Sunbury New Enterprises Expansion Drive, Inc. (SNEED) work together to help businesses recieve funding and find property.
Ben Franklin Technology Partners helps to equip businesses with technology, employees, financial support and other necessities to build a successful company. The Manufacturers’ Association of Central Pennsylvania works with businesses to master managing employees, conduct relevant roundtable discussions, assistance with gaining funding and much more. FOCUS Central Pennsylvania provides a multitude of information and resources to companies wishing to locate to the region.
