The Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce offers its members benefits to stimulate their business and gain exposure. From discounts and promotional opportunities to events and programs, Chamber members can utilize these services to their benefit.

Health insurance benefits for businesses through PCI Insurance Inc. provide a wide range of packages to fit the needs of any size business, small or large. Discounted long distance telephone service through Broadview Networks brings member businesses in touch with numerous services–cellular, Internet access, fax broadcast, voice and data private lines.

Advertising is quite important for all businesses and the Chamber affords its members plenty of ways to gain publicity, whether it is verbal, in print or online. The Chamber works with government officials who require services or goods; the Chamber puts these leaders in touch with chamber-member businesses to fulfill their needs. The Chamber also performs this service when people call the Chamber to inquire about local businesses.

The Voice of the Valley monthly newsletter is distributed to over 73,000 readers via The Daily Item and The Danville News newspapers. Chamber members can reach potential customers by advertising in the newsletter at discounted rates and can be featured in the member connections section.

Another monthly advertising opportunity lies in the Business Connect Direct Mailing. The Chamber directly mails informational packets to over 850 businesses announcing upcoming events. Chamber members have the chance to submit a flyer to be included in these packets.

The Susquehanna Valley Chamber Web site features a membership directory where all members’ pertinent information is displayed. Limited advertising space is also available for members to purchase on the Chamber’s site. Ads can be linked back to the sponsoring business’s Web site at no additional cost beyond the price of the ad.

Chamber members can take advantage of the many everyday office services made possible by the Chamber. The Chamber also provides a wealth of information about the area and highlights the many resources and businesses within the Susquehanna Valley. The member-to-member discount program offers savings to those members who patronize fellow chamber members. Chair’s Circle members are outfitted with valuable services that go beyond their regular membership and give their businesses the tools they need to thrive.

Businesses are able to sponsor the many Chamber events and programs to build connections and relationships with other business owners in the Valley. Events and programs include the Annual Golf Classic, Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony, the ATHENA® Program, breakfast clubs, Business After Hours, Economic Forecast Luncheon, Joint Legislative Forums, Office Staff Recognition Luncheon, Small Business Focus Seminars, Small Business Support Group, ribbon cuttings, Young Americans Program, Women’s Leadership Symposium, Leadership Susquehanna Valley and more.
