Lehigh Valley’s public and private schools are among the best in the nation, with more than two-thirds of graduates pursuing higher education. Schools in the Two Rivers area provide students with a challenging curriculum that encourages creativity, critical thinking and understanding of new technology.

The primary Two Rivers area is served by 18 public schools in two school districts. The region also has four parochial schools serving elementary and secondary students.

Twelve schools comprise the Easton Area School District (610-250-2400), which serves about 8,000 students. There are nine elementary schools for pupils in kindergarten through fifth grade, plus Easton Area Middle School, Shawnee Intermediate School and Easton Area High School.

The Wilson Area School District (610-258-0841) has five schools, all located in Easton. Total enrollment is about 2,200. Three elementary schools serve pupils in kindergarten through fifth grade. Philip F. Lauer Middle School serves grades six-eight, and Wilson Area High School is for grades nine-12.

Private schools in the area include Easton Catholic Elementary School (610-252-1393), St. Jane Francis de Chantal School for K-8 (610-253-8442), Notre Dame High School (610-868-1431) and Moravian Academy

for K-12 (610-868-4744).

Lehigh Valley residents have many opportunities for pursuing higher education, with 10 colleges and universities located in the area.
