The Zelienople-Harmony area offers an abundance of recreational and leisure opportunities. The Zelienople-Harmony Community Park is situated on 25 acres and boasts a swimming and wading pool, four tennis courts, five baseball fields, two basketball courts, four picnic shelters, a playground and a nature trail. The Zelienople-Harmony Park and Athletic Associations host a number of organized activities such as baseball and soccer as well as swimming lessons. Girls’ softball, boys’ little league and men’s minor league baseball are favorites among residents.

For those who revel in the great outdoors, the Indian Brave campground in Harmony boasts a playground, recreation hall and planned activities. Hereford Manor Lake, just west of Zelienople, offers a quiet refuge to those who want to fish on its serene waters, feed the ducks or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. McConnell’s Mill State Park, 15 minutes north of Zelienople, is situated on 2,500 acres and features a restored grist mill along the gorge of the Slippery Rock River, a covered bridge, a hiking trail, white water rafting, fishing, rock climbing and rappelling.
