Town Beach Complex- Our well protected salt-water beach with lifeguards, playground, snack bar, picnic areas, barbecue grills and parking. Also located at the complex are the Beechwood House Senior Center, Cold Spring Community Center, Wickford Art Assn. Gallery and outdoor bandshell.

GOLF

North Kingstown Municipal Golf Course- Located on the former Navy Base, this 18 hole, par 70 course is the leading public course in Rhode Island. Season Passes are available for residents as well as daily fee play and tournaments. Cart rentals, putting greens, driving range also on sight. The brand new clubhouse is home to Carter’s 19th Hole Restaurant as well as lockers, showers and proshop.

Our premier private course is located at Quidnessett Country Club in the northern end of town. Situated on beautiful Narragansett Bay, Quidnessett also hosts a wonderful banquet facility for groups of all sizes.

Allen Harbor- Located at Quonset/ Davisville, this is the only municipal marina in Rhode Island. Set in a beautiful, well-protected harbor with immediate access to Narragansett Bay, the facility offers moorings, slips, pumpout station, and a boat ramp and picnic pavilion.

Wickford Harbor- One of the best known harbors in Rhode Island, Wickford offers a variety of boating services available at a variety of businesses including Brewer’s Wickford Cove Marina, Pleasant Street Wharf, and Wickford Marina. In addition to the boating facilities, Wickford is well know for its unique shops, history, churches and great marketing at Ryan’s Market. Wickford has also become a hub for kayak sales and rentals in recent years. Whether a novice, or skilled kayaker. The Kayak Centre in Wickford can be your launching site for an enjoyable water experience. Boat ramps are available at Pleasant Street and Intrepid Drive.

Yawgoo Valley Ski Area & Sports Park located in neighboring Exeter has become a destination for skiers of all ages and skill levels. In the winter months you can enjoy 12 maintained trails with modern snowmaking and grooming equipment. Snow boarding and snowtubing are also available at the park. When the temperature rises, Yawgoo keeps the fun going strong with their waterslide and pools. They also have a pitch & putt facility to improve your golfing skills.

BOWLING

Two facilities in town offer a range of bowling opportunity from the standard league size balls to the smaller duckpin options. Both Wickford Lanes and Kingstown Bowl meet the needs of all ages of our population for individual or league play.
