Healthcare Wilson Medical Center in Darlington was purchased by McLeod Hospital and has grown and expanded not only its expert staff, but also its facility - with the addition of a new 9,000-square-foot wing, as well as a new Emergency Medical Service Center. Numerous physicians and dentists maintain independent offices in the Greater Darlington area. CareSouth Carolina, Inc., located in Society Hill, was recognized for its new $1.4 million facility with the "Community Pride " award. Several nursing and convalescent centers are located in and around the Greater Darlington area, providing quality, compassionate care.
