
PRESBYTERIAN COLLEGE INTERN-Jonathan Doerr, a Presbyterian College senior from Pawleys Island, SC, served as an intern at the Laurens County Chamber of Commerce during the 2004-2005 school year. Following graduation, Doerr is pursuing a career with the Federal government and makes his home in Alexandria, VA.
SMALL BUSINESS PERSON HONORS-The Laurens County Chamber of Commerce recognizes local small business owners each quarter of the year. John Mitchell was named Small Business Person of the Year at the annual membership banquet in January 2005.
TEACHERS HONORED-Brenda Shrantz, left, of the Martha Dendy Sixth Grade Center in Clinton and Susan H. Putman of Laurens Middle School in Laurens were recognized as Teachers of the Year from District 56 and 55, respectively.

AMBASSADORS OF THE YEAR-Judy Mattison and Michael Patterson of Langston House Assisted Living in Clinton were honored as the Laurens County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors of the Year for their faithful support of the Chamber’s mission. Both volunteered numerous hours to Chamber events throughout the year.
