Laurens County has four industrial parks: Hunter Industrial Park in the City of Laurens, the Clinton Corporate Park in the City of Clinton, Gray Court Industrial Park in the Town of Gray Court, and Woodfield Industrial Park outside the City of Fountain Inn.
Major international manufacturers that maintain facilities in Laurens County include Timken, Avery Dennison, DuPont, Wal-Mart Distribution, Michelin and Milliken.
Laurens County offers a variety of economic incentives for the development of business and industry. The Laurens County Council has generally offered incentive packages to new and existing businesses based on the investment amount, number of jobs created and average wages to be paid.
