ON THE COUNTY LINE—Northern Laurens County, in the Fountain Inn and Gray Court communities along Interstate 385, is experiencing an industrial and residential boom as growth spills over from Greenville County.

GROWTH IN CLINTON—Fatz Café joined the Hampton Inn & Suites as the newest tenant in the Clinton Park Corporate Center in December 2006. The area is expected to see more growth as roads and infrastructure are improved along Interstate 26.

UPSTATE ALLIANCE—Laurens County is part of the Upstate Alliance, a public/private regional economic development organization designed to market the 10 counties of South Carolina’s Upstate Region. Marvin Moss of the Laurens County Development Corporation often participates in national and international trade shows with the Upstate Alliance, marketing Laurens County to a worldwide audience.

ALL ROADS LEAD TO LAURENS COUNTY—Interstates 26 and 385 offer industry and business easy access to major markets and to the ports along the South Carolina coast.
