The county has three First-Class, two Second-Class and two Third-Class Post Offices. Branches of the Pickens County Library are located in Easley, Central, Liberty and Pickens, and all provide computers and internet access to patrons. The libraries of Clemson University and Southern Wesleyan also permit limited use by area residents. Utilities The cities of Central, Clemson, Easley, Liberty and Pickens operate their own sewage treatment facilities. Major improvements - including the construction of a pair of one million gallon per day treatment facility by Pickens County on Eighteen Mile Creek and the construction of a new one million gallon per day plant by the City of Pickens on the Twelve Mile River - will dramatically improve the county's ability to accommodate industrial growth in the future. Electricity is provided by Duke Power Company, Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative and Easley Combined Utility. Natural gas is supplied by Fort Hill Natural Gas Authority.
