Shopping

With the expansive growth Burleson has experienced has come an expansion in the shopping available to citizens. Whether you prefer the excitement of an independent, locally developed shop or the familiarity of a nationally recognized brand, you’ll find just what you’re looking for in Burleson. New retail outlets are opening up on every side of town. In fact, the amount of retail sales has increased from $600 million to $1.2 billion since 2000.

As you come in from Fort Worth along I-35, you’ll recognize large national chains like Best Buy, Staples, Mattress Giant, Kohl’s and Sears Home Appliance Showroom.

Coming in from Crowley on John Jones, you’ll pass by Target, The Home Depot, Office Depot and Spokes Bicycles & Service. If you stay on John Jones and cross over 174, you’re on your way to Lone Oak Winery, where you can pick up an assortment of locally made wines and accessories.

If you come to Burleson from Cleburne or Joshua, you’ll pass by Burleson Commons, home of Wine Styles Wine and Gifts, and Johnson County’s only digital theatre, Premiere Cinema. After the movie, swing into Marble Slab Creamery for dessert, or drop in to Roscoe’s for some authentic Texas barbecue.

Drive through Burleson on 174 (Wilshire) and you’ll pass by Accents of Burleson, Western Chic Boutique, Woolard's Custom Jewelers, Rachel's Hope Resale, Kid to Kid Burleson, and Walmart.

Just a couple blocks off the beaten path, but on your way into old town, you’ll see Happy Tails Pet Boutique and Pence & Panache Formal Wear. And if anything you pick-up at Pence & Panache needs a little adjusting, you’re right by A Perfect Fit Alterations.

All of this and so much more is waiting for you in the shops of Burleson.
