Individual
Designed for anyone not affiliated with a business (including retired persons, city employees, BISD employees and individual members) are entitled to one vote in Chamber business. They also receive mailings and one listing in the Membership Directory and on the web site. Some cost-saving discounts are available.
Commercial
Through this business membership, profit-making companies are entitled to two votes in Chamber business and to a listing in both the Membership Directory and the Buyer’s Guide. All cost-saving discounts and marketing programs are available – with the exception of radio advertising.
Associate/Government/Elected Officials
Designed for the employee of an existing chamber business member who wishes to be acknowledged individually (e.g., Realtors, doctors, elected officials and insurance agents), associates are entitled to one vote in Chamber business. They also receive mailings and a listing in both the Membership Directory and Buyer’s Guide. Some cost-saving discounts are available.
Bronze Star
Members who invest at this higher level are entitled to more benefits – including five votes in Chamber business and special recognition in the Business Directory, Buyer’s Guide, web site, newsletter and promotional brochures. A full range of cost-saving benefits are available, as well as various marketing programs, such as $250 of free radio advertising.
Silver Star
This membership is required for financial institutions and utilities. Any members may invest at this higher level, thus attaining more benefits and sponsorship options than the other membership levels.
Gold Star
This membership level allows business members an opportunity for unique sponsorships.
Diamond
This will allow businesses to obtain exclusive sponsorship of major events.
Platinum
This is the highest level of membership, and provides the best value for the investment. Special recognition and awards are available at this level.
Non-Profit
Eligible groups for this membership include civic clubs, religious organizations and service organizations/clubs (scouts, sports, etc.) with an official 501(c) 3. Nonprofits are entitled to one vote in Chamber business, mailings and one listing in both the Membership Directory and the Buyer’s Guide. Some cost-saving discounts are available.
