Strategically located south of I-20, between I-35 and Highway 67, DeSoto is only 15 minutes from downtown Dallas, offering convenient access to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
I-20 crosses just north of DeSoto, connecting the Best Southwest area to Fort Worth and the Mid-Cities. I-35 (the NAFTA gateway from the south) runs along the eastern city limits of DeSoto.
Access to downtown is easy via freeway. Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport is only 30 minutes away, offering daily flights to all parts of the world. Dallas Love Field, offering domestic flights within the contiguous United States, is just minutes from DeSoto. For private plane enthusiasts, Executive Airport, Lancaster Municipal Airport and MidWay Regional Airport in Midlothian are convenient to DeSoto.
A location in the southwest part of Dallas County means shorter commutes and more pleasant drives. All in all, location and accessibility are keys to DeSoto’s attraction.
