DeSoto’s central location gives shoppers easy access to major malls in Dallas and Arlington, as well as the new retail complex in the neighboring city of Cedar Hill. Within DeSoto’s city limits, shoppers can take advantage of video stores, discount outlets, grocers, hardware and houseware retailers and a number of small specialty shops.
Roe Art Picture Framing offers custom framing, and Wiseman Hardware and Westlake Ace Hardware meet the needs of homeowners; abbe house boutique and sample shop offers unique clothing, jewelry and gift items. Nearby Cedar Hill has a variety of retail shops, including Virginia’s Boutique, an upscale clothing boutique for women.
