Welcome from the Mayor

On behalf of the City of Graham, we welcome you to our corner of the world. While we offer the low-stress, small-town lifestyle, Graham is also full of cultural, educational, historical, and recreational opportunities.

Our terrain and location near Possum Kingdom Lake offers hunting, fishing, boating, canoeing, and exploring opportunities for the outdoorsman. Our recently expanded Young County Arena is an exceptional facility that can handle equine events of any size.

Besides the usual city services of water, streets, parks, police, and fire protection, the City of Graham is involved in numerous programs which enhance our quality of life. Our library is second to none, and the new Senior Citizens Center serves the older population in fine fashion. The Graham Municipal Auditorium is a historical venue for theatre concerts and other cultural events, and the Old Post Office Museum serves as a base for many visitors who are exploring the history of the area.

Graham Regional Medical Center, one of the few city-owned hospitals in the state, has launched an aggressive expansion project to better serve the medical needs of the area, and the recently created Graham Education and Workforce Center is now fully operational, providing college level and technical education in a state-of-the-art facility. Our city airport expansion and runway extension was completed in early 2007.

As you can see, the City of Graham is involved in many areas that enhance our quality of life. We are proud of the place, and we welcome you to stay and enjoy the good life in Graham as long as you wish.
