MAJOR ROADWAYS
In addition to a number of local thoroughfares winding throughout the community, the City of Kaufman is readily served by State Highway 175, the only four-land divided highway between Interstates 20 and 45.
AIR TRAVEL
Nearby is the Terrell Municipal Airport, a public access facility equipped with services for both commercial and private aviation needs. Further options include regional travel through Dallas Love Field, which provides more than 100 daily flights to 17 destinations, and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, a bustling transportation hub served by 20 airlines.
KART
Initially established to serve the senior population of the area, KART now offers service to all citizens of Kaufman and Rockwall counties. Through KART, riders can reach destinations such as employment sites, shopping centers, senior centers, medical resources and others, all for an affordable fare.
