There are plenty of opportunities for recreation in Kaufman. Five charming parks, four sparkling lakes and proximity to approximately 20 golf courses are all included in the recreational opportunities discovered in the area.
Part of the Dallas YMCA network, the Kaufman County Family YMCA is another fantastic source of local recreation for people of all ages and abilities. YMCA members take part in sports, health and wellness classes, after-school programs, camp retreats and more.
GOLF
Golfers of all skill levels, from professional to novice, are attracted to the beautiful Cedar Creek Country Club in Cedar Creek Reservoir. Built in 1967, the well-maintained 18-hole course is accompanied by a spacious, modern clubhouse, a new pool with beach entry, two lighted tennis courts and a stocked golf shop. Kaufman residents and visitors are also within 30 minutes of a multitude of further golf courses.
