A part of the extensive Texas Health Resources system, among the largest healthcare systems in the Southwest, Presbyterian Hospital of Kaufman has transformed itself into one of the leading hospitals in the area since its opening in 1979. PHK is a 91-bed, community-based hospital equipped with a medical staff exceeding 100 primary care and specialty physicians and more than 200 dedicated employees and volunteers.

A full spectrum of medical services and programs are available through PHK, including such key areas as cardiology, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, pediatrics, podiatry, urology, gastroenterology and ear/nose/throat. Additionally, the hospital is home to a Level IV Trauma Center, the only trauma-designated facility in the area.

PHK has twice been recognized as a top hospital by the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaide Services and Premier, Inc. (2005 and 2006), and was recently honored as “Corporate Citizen of the Year” by the Kaufman Chamber of Commerce.

KAUFMAN COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER

Operated by the Community Health Service Agency, Inc. (CHSA), the Kaufman Community Health Center offers a range of quality services to residents of the community. General medicine, women’s health, family planning, pediatrics, social services, pharmacy and diabetes and nutrition education/consultation round out the list of available care found through the center.
