We are home to many large, internationally-recognized businesses, so customers can shop at stores where they are already familiar with the products and services provided. The historic downtown shopping district, anchored by the famous King Ranch Saddle Shop, has a wide variety of businesses and services. Examples include quaint, family-style cafés, an art gallery, antique dealers, unique gift shops, a bank, railroad museum and a pharmacy/old-fashioned soda fountain. Parking is convenient, and rustic benches are available on every block to allow people to meet, rest and enjoy the atmosphere.

Southgate Mall, located on South Brahma Boulevard, features two major department stores, a jewelry store and much more. Our other large shopping mall, the Wild Horse Crossing, is located on the intersection of Highway 77 and Senator Carlos Truan Boulevard. This mall is home to a large department store, well-known furniture store, a 7-screen movie theater and many different specialty shops. Kingsville is also home to many large, home improvement stores, two super shopping/grocery centers and numerous nationally known, large restaurants. Other areas that are popular for their wide selection of businesses are the 14th Street and King Avenue strips. These areas are home to various specialty and fast food restaurants, with cuisines ranging from authentic Mexican, South Texas barbeque, Thai, Chinese and seafood. Also found in these locations are video stores, car service and parts vendors and women’s fashion shops. We have something to fit just about every need!
