Kingsville brings culture and entertainment to life by offering a variety of venues and attractions. The Bryant Gallery, located in historic downtown Kingsville, features regional and local artists. The gallery is housed in the restored Sims Building, a local landmark that was the First National Bank of Kingsville during the 1920s and later became home to the J.C. Penney Company.

The Railroad Depot, also located in historic downtown Kingsville, provides a history of the original train depot and the impact of the railroad on South Texas and Kingsville. Another local treasure is the Henrietta Memorial Center, which houses a permanent collection of King Ranch memorabilia, including the award-winning photographic essay of life on the King Ranch in the 1940s, saddles from around the world, a gun collection, antique carriages and vintage cars.

The Conner Museum, located on the campus of Texas A&M University-Kingsville, features numerous dioramas and permanent exhibits, including the Peeler Hall of Horns, that showcase the ranching heritage and natural history of South Texas. Texas A&M University-Kingsville is also the site of the International Young Performer's Music Competition, annual jazz festival, the Art Gallery, the Kingsville Symphony Orchestra and various collegiate athletic games. In addition, the Little Theater and Recital Hall and the Edward Newton Jones Auditorium present year-round musical and drama productions.

For family-style entertainment, visit the J.K. Northway Exposition Center and Dick Kleberg Park. You will find events of all types, including rodeo bull riding, junior livestock shows, carnivals and regional arts and crafts fairs. Visit them at www.klebergpark.org or call 361-595-8591 for more details.
