Prominent service industries (such as advertising, public relations, printing, marketing and personnel companies) supply essential business assistance to the business community. Personal assistance providers such as personal trainers and fitness experts, travel agents, photographers and a variety of healthcare professionals assist individuals with everyday needs.
In addition, the Lake Travis area is fortunate for its location near a large, well-educated and highly motivated workforce. Travis County employs over 546,000 people and has a low unemployment rate, while the nearby city of Austin itself employs around 695,000 people and also has a significantly low unemployment rate in comparison to the national statistic.
