They offer AirBP Fuel at one of the best prices in North Texas, and for your convenience there is a 100LL Self-Serve fuel pump available at a discounted price. It is a full-service FBO offering maintenance, repair, rental, sales, servicing, flight planning, computerized weather, UNICOM, RCO and AWOS.
The airport has three box hangers housing over 100 airplanes. Other amenities at the airport include a large comfortable pilot’s lounge with vending machines and a conference room for those all-important meetings. Catering is also available.
Opening in 1992, Mid-Way Regional Airport is a 243-acre general aviation airport that is evolving into an attractive corporate aviation facility. Airborne Imaging with seven airplanes including DC3’s was among the first to locate their corporate hanger in Mid-Way Regional Airport. Other companies doing business at the airport is Contract Painters Corporation (CPC), Southern Star Aviation, Wheels-Up Aviation Services, Midway Aircraft Maintenance, Anglair Aviation, Tail Wheel Instruction, A-One Aircraft Paint, Arrae, and We Fly Ads.
Currently Mid-Way can accommodate planes such as the Citation, King Air, and Gulfstream on its 5,000-foot runway. Recently, Mid-Way received a grant from the Texas Department of Transportation to extend the runway to 6,500 feet and to widen it from 75 feet to 100 feet. This expansion is currently under way and will give the airport the capability to land planes as large as a Gulfstream 5 or a Challenger jet. The airport is an excellent location for an aviation-related industrial complex, manufacturing, subassembly facility or air cargo operation looking for a cost-effective, centrally located airport.
