Johns Community Hospital (JCH) is a 25-bed acute care hospital with 24-hour emergency room services, as well as radiology, laboratory, surgery and intensive care units available around the clock. A non-profit organization, JCH puts newly generated income back into the facility to cover operating expenses and new equipment. The hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. The main campus on Mallard Lane includes the Health Center, Johns Community Rehab and Johns Community Hospital Home Health. There are more than 90 physicians with privileges at the hospital and eight healthcare providers on staff at the Health Center. JCH maintains more than 200 members on staff.
Scott & White Clinic, also located on Mallard Lane, is part of the distinguished Scott & White Hospital in Temple. It’s a small practice, it offers healthcare services for the entire family. It’s staffed by 10 physicians, services include pediatrics, women’s health, cancer screening, orthopedic care, preventative health services, occupational medicine, office surgery, routine physicals and an on-site lab X-ray facility.
