Education
Wimberley Independent School District schools are among the best in the state, annually garnering honors recognizing scholastic as well as athletic achievement. The student population of the district is more than 2,000 in prekindergarten through 12th grade at four modern campuses. What’s more, alternatives to the public school system are available through a handful of private, parochial and charter schools. Notable institutions include St. Stephen’s Episcopal School of Wimberley, Katherine Anne Porter High School and Parkside Community School.
