Chamber Welcome

Welcome to the Vienna, Oakton, Tysons, Dunn Loring and Merrifield communities.Ê Although we are a diverse community comprised of high-tech, defense and communications industries, small merchants and professional services, we retain a truly ÒhometownÓ atmosphere. Vienna Regional Chamber of Commerce members located here provide an array of services and products and stand ready to serve you in all your needs.

In addition to its business-related activities, the Chamber is very active in the community as well. This year the Vienna Regional Chamber sponsored the 6th Annual Fall Carnival at Nottoway Park from September 7th through the 10th. We also provided volunteer support for the Town of ViennaÕs 54th Annual Halloween Parade on October 25th with the theme ÒCharacter Counts,Ó highlighting businessÕs commitment to nonpartisan character education.

The Chamber held its 2nd Annual Golf Tournament on October 17th at Bristow Manor in Manassas with a part of the proceeds going to support ÒEthics DayÓ at area high schools as well as the Orphan Foundation of America. November 27th was the day of the 3rd Annual Holiday Stroll on Historic Church Street. Santa came to the Freeman House riding an antique fire engine and visited with all the children, young and old. Many of the Church Street merchants offered special holiday discounts and refreshments. Music was provided by area schools and performing groups. Vienna Vice Mayor Robert McCormick and myself lit a huge tree to start the festive holiday season. March 10th is the ChamberÕs 8th Annual Casino Night and Taste of Vienna to be held at the Westwood Country club in Vienna. These are events that have become traditions. You wonÕt want to miss them!

Area businesses join together for productive networking at the ChamberÕs monthly luncheons or breakfasts and their monthly morning and evening mixers. The Chamber also sponsors monthly ÒLunch and LearnÓ sessions to keep its members informed on topics of interest that affect them in their businessÕ operations and on topics that provide for professional growth.

We also sponsor quarterly Blood Drives, an annual ÒFight the FluÓ clinic, and a holiday gift drive to benefit the Alternative House. We are proud of our involvement in our community.
