The campuses of three major colleges and universities are located in the greater Vienna regional area. George Mason University enrolls more than 25,000 students that pursue 113 degree programs with an academic emphasis on high technology, public policy, and fine and performing arts.Ê Northern Virginia Community College has five campuses in the region and 30 areas of study, and the University of Virginia/Virginia Tech Graduate Center has degree programs in eight areas.

More than 40 other colleges and universities are located throughout the Washington metropolitan area, offering a wide array of undergraduate and graduate-level degree programs.
