Each spring and fall travelers stopping at the Tourist Information Center on U.S. Route 460 in Princeton, West Virginia, are greeted by Senior Ambassadors, volunteers eager to answer questions and provide information about the area from a seniors point of view. For approximately eight weeks during each of the two seasons, Senior Ambassadors join the Centers regular staff to welcome guests, which typically include people from almost all 50 states and nearly a dozen foreign countries. The ambassadors are on duty from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday through Thursday at a desk easily visible from any of the centers main entrances. They serve from mid-March to mid-May and from mid-September to mid-November.
