Our mission: To create a positive economic, political and social climate in the Fox Cities, thereby making it possible for members and the community to grow and prosper. This mission guides our programs and outlines future projects that benefit all the communities in our service area which include:
• The cities of Appleton, Kaukauna, Menasha and Neenah
• The villages of Combined Locks, Hortonville, Kimberly and Little Chute
• The towns of Buchanan, Greenville, Harrison, Menasha, Neenah
Our communities represent an increasingly diverse population attracted by the rich ethnic heritage and cultural amenities of the region. Recently our area was tops in the polls: Best Place to Raise Kids, Top Towns for Sportsmen and Tops in Well-Being.
The Fox Cities has a long history of innovation and progressive thinking. In the early 1900’s, our communities faced a dramatic change in their economic climate and way of life. Our forefathers made the pragmatic decisions and short-term sacrifices necessary to create a stable, sustainable and prosperous environment that has lasted for over one hundred years. We are now poised on the threshold of another shift in demographics, growth and opportunity. The Chamber created the Economic Development Alliance to focus the Fox Cities region on the future. We are taking the bold thinking and strategic action necessary to allow us to compete in a global marketplace. We need YOU to plant your stake in the future landscape of our region.
The Chamber continues its focus on the leverage of community collaboration in public affairs, education and professional development. We are also developing new ways to serve all our stakeholders from the entrepreneurs to our industry giants. We are the pro-business voice for the business community and the “Department of Progress” for the region.
