opportunity for outdoor recreation is largely due to the natural surroundings
Boscobel has been blessed with. Canoeing and fishing are extremely popular
on the Wisconsin River, which also provides swimming, boating, and camping
enjoyment. Amazing hiking and bird watching experiences are available
through the many trails and parks around town. Kronshage Park features
an Olympic-size swimming pool, basketball, tennis, and volleyball courts,
and plenty of picnic tables. Winter activities include ice skating, skiing,
snowmobiling and hunting. Boscobel is widely known as the Wild Turkey
Hunting Capital of Wisconsin. The
city also boasts of a full service public library with public Internet
access, bowling alley, 19-hole mini golf course, movie theater, art gallery,
and numerous antique and specialty shops.
