An exceptional source of year-round, world-class entertainment, the Cedarburg Performing Arts Center hosts a selection of outstanding events, including the Annual Milwaukee Symphony Holiday Concert and appearances by nationally recognized performers through its “Visiting Artists Series.” Don McClean, John McGivern, Jim Brickman and Kevin Eubanks are some of the recent notable performers who have graced the stage of the 580-seat performing arts center. Visiting artists also participate in master classes, workshops and on-stage collaborations attended by local students. The Cedarburg Performing Arts Center provides a professional-quality setting for many programs and performances for area schools, as well as presenting excellent children’s theater productions and musical performances.

Located in the heart of Cedarburg’s historic district, the Cedarburg Cultural Center offers a wide variety of performances, classes, exhibits and historic programming to engage all ages. The center brings blues, big band music, children’s theater, adult comedy and more to its intimate performing arts area, set in a comfortable smoke-free gallery environment. Those galleries, which are free and open to the public six days a week, feature frequently changing exhibits of work for sale by local and regional artists.

The cultural center highlights local history in one of Cedarburg’s oldest residences, the 1849 Kuhefuss House Museum, through an annual tour of historically significant houses and an extensive archive of images from early Cedarburg. The center also provides numerous classes for adults and children in the fine arts.
Another well-received addition to the local entertainment scene is the popular Summer Sounds Concerts. Free concerts are offered to the public in the City’s Cedar Creek Park each Friday evening from late June through the end of August.d
