The city and town take pride in maintaining a diversified business community. Machinery, electrical and electronic equipment, fabricated metal products, food products, medical and paper products are among the many locally produced items in Cedarburg.

A number of the businesses manufacturing these products can be found within the 39-acre Cedarburg Business Park. In addition to this park, local officials are also establishing the foundation for a new business park, located on the northern side of the city, along Highway 60. This specific addition to the business community reflects the continuing development happening throughout Cedarburg. As this progress persists, area employers will continue to enjoy the unrivaled advantages of having a dedicated, highly skilled workforce at their disposal.

A wealth of financial institutions call Cedarburg home, all dedicated to providing superb services and programs to both private investors and businesses. The City of Cedarburg is equipped with a Revolving Loan Fund, which was designed to create jobs, encourage private investment and offer a financing alternative for expanding and start-up businesses; while the Town of Cedarburg offers an annual matching grant program to assist businesses in the Five Corners area with facade, signage and landscaping improvements.

On top of the excellent resources afforded through local governing entities, the Cedarburg area is fortunate to be served by a number of business-oriented organizations. One such organization is the Cedarburg Chamber of Commerce, a business-focused entity that currently boasts an eclectic membership of some 300 businesses. The Chamber strives to provide superlative services and programs geared towards maintaining and increasing the area’s high economic vitality.

The organization works hand-in-hand with the City of Cedarburg Economic Development Coordinator to attract and retain businesses. The office of the coordinator maintains site search listings, as well as current market and demographic information in order to assist those businesses interested in locating or expanding within the City of Cedarburg. In addition, Ozaukee Economic Development works to advance the business prosperity of Ozaukee County through regional initiatives, workforce development and low interest financing programs.
