The University of Wisconsin-Madison, located just 5 miles from the DeForest area, is the cornerstone of the statewide University of Wisconsin educational system, is a proud member of the Big Ten, and is recognized worldwide for its teaching and research facilities. UW-Madison enrolls more than 40,000 students, with 46% of the freshman ranking in the top 10% of their high school class.
