Eagle River is nestled within northern Wisconsin, within the scenic Northwoods region. It is conveniently located between I-39 and I-41, which both offer a connection with I-90 and I-94 to the south. Private and corporate air travel is available through the Eagle River Airport. The general aviation airport features as 4,996-foot hard surface runway complete with pilot controlled lighting. The runway has the capability to accommodate everything from small single-engine aircraft to larger corporate jets. Hangar service is available, as well as rental car and courtesy car service for shorter trips. Trans North Aviation operates at the airport, providing travel to Chicago’s Palwaukee Airport four times a week.
