The Fort Community Airport is two miles to the south. Jefferson Transport Service and Ray Rupprecht Trucking (both local trucking firms) and the warehouse establishments of Jefferson Area Business Center, Foremost Building, Atlas Cold Storage, and Parkway Center are all located in Jefferson.
