The entity is devoted to creating a wealth of opportunities for all professional and amateur artists in the Jefferson area.

Supplementing the cultural landscape of Jefferson is one of southeastern Wisconsin’s largest community theaters. The Performing Arts Center, located within Jefferson High School, is a 996-seat auditorium featuring a 64 foot by 44 foot proscenium stage, and superior lighting and sound systems. The Council for the Performing Arts shares the stage with the busy school district schedule, welcoming novice and amateur musicians, actors, dancers and other performers.

What’s more, area residents and visitors have enjoyed excellent performances from the world famous Glenn Miller Orchestra, which offers big band jazz sounds; the renowned Madison Symphony Orchestra; Missoula Children’s Theater; and the Dutton Family.
