The Village of Kronenwetter links the City of Mosinee to the growing Cedar Creek shopping and entertainment destination area. Kronenwetter, the fastest growing community in Marathon County, was incorporated as a Village in 2002. In early 2003, Kronenwetter’s Village Board of Trustees accepted the annexation request of the 41-square mile remaining Town of Kronenwetter, in making it the largest village in Wisconsin, measuring 52 square miles.

Kronenwetter has a quality infrastructure, room to grow, attractive new residential subdivisions coupled with diverse housing, a progressive government and a can-do citizenry of 6,200 down-to-earth folks. The Village has created four Tax Incremental Districts (TIDs) offering a diversity of opportunity for businesses and industry poised to take advantage of the Mosinee area’s strategic Central Wisconsin location of choice.
