Transportation
Richland Center is ideally nestled in the heart of southwest Wisconsin, halfway between the cities of Madison and La Crosse. It is also the mid-point between Chicago and Minneapolis. The area, also referred to as the Ocooch Mountain Range, offers convenient access to Highways 14 and 80, which intersect in Richland Center and provide excellent links to several major highway arteries.
Richland Center’s Municipal Airport is located five miles east of the city in Sextonville. The airport serves the general aviation demands of Richland County through its facility, which features a 3,200-foot paved runway and a 1,500-foot turf airstrip.
Long distance motor coach transportation is provided through Jefferson Lines, and Towne Taxi services in-town needs, along with volunteer transportation services.
