That’s the word that best describes the shops in Richland Center! So many of the products you’ll find here come from the heart and the hand of our local artists and entrepreneurs. One example is the Red Door Gallery, where you’ll find samples of everything from individually designed and crafted wood furnishings and sculptures to hand-crafted jewelry. You’ll discover fine art in paintings, drawings, stained glass, metal, textiles and much more. Quite often when visiting the gallery you may even happen upon one of the artists at work.
If your interest lies in crafts you’ll find your choice of items, styles and craftsmen at The Creative Outlet. Handmade quilts, candies and scroll saw products are only a few of the crafts you’ll find there. As a consignment shop they feature the work of many of our local artisans in their shop on Main Street. Just across the street you’ll find the Pine River Market & Café where the fare is homeopathic, organic and green, along with unique and unusual gifts, a nice atmosphere and a “social event” all on its own.
Richland Center’s Thrifty White Pharmacy and Walsh’s Ace Hardware are two examples of stores that treat their customers with their own extraordinary brand of service and hospitality. Their employees are friendly and helpful, and will assist you in finding just the right item or gift in their stores. This “local flavor” is a product in all of our shops.
