Situated within northern Waukesha County, in the southeast portion of Wisconsin, the Sussex area is conveniently located, with well-connected highway access in and out.
Which means its just a short, easy drive for residents and visitors alike, whether it be to nearby Menomonee Falls, or to anything the greater Milwaukee area has to offer.
One of the key factors in the community's growth has been the railroad - two major lines, the Wisconsin Central and the Northwestern, bisect the township. Air transportation is available to almost any destination via Milwaukee’s General Mitchell International Airport, where 16 airlines offer daily arrival and departure service.
