Newcastle Place
Since its founding in 1884 as the Milwaukee Protestant Home, Newcastle Place has experienced tremendous growth in size and scope. Newcastle Place, a vibrant continuing-care senior retirement community, provides its senior residents with an array of residential options and plenty of excellent amenities that support an active lifestyle.
Independent living, assisted living, rehabilitation, skilled care and memory care round out the offerings found on the 52-acre Newcastle Place campus in Mequon. Main services delivered to residents include housekeeping, dining, home maintenance, transportation and laundry. Supplementing these resources are ample social activities; an Aquatic, Spa & Wellness Center; a library; a salon; a pharmacy; a general store; and more—all located on site.
Newcastle Place’s two-bedroom carriage houses are perfect for the independent senior. The homes feature an attached garage, spacious dining and living rooms, and a four-season room. Independent-living apartments are also an option, with one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans; Florida rooms; patios; and balconies.
The newest development on the Newcastle Place campus is Newcastle Estates, which offers 69 brand-new homes. Residents can choose between one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments or two-bedroom and optional three-bedroom carriage homes.
The Highlands at Newcastle Place Assisted Living Apartments offers an independent-living environment complemented by supportive services such as three daily meal preparations, housekeeping, linen services and assistance with a variety of daily living tasks.
The on-campus Rehabilitation Unit features all private rooms for patients in need of physical, occupational and speech therapy, while Newcastle Place’s Skilled Nursing Care Unit is equipped with 24-hour staff, dining and laundry services, private rooms, an emergency response system, and opportunities for therapeutic recreation. The facility also offers a structured memory support program.
